Why is it weird for todays society to listen to music from the 90’s?
I personally think Blink 182, Nirvana, Smashing pumpkins, etc. They formed today. Even though its different to hear “All the small things” on the radio anymore. Me being sixteen, I think Songs from before I were born, had more passion and heartfelt words inside them then the ones today that sing about a night train, being popular, and such. Personally, I rather sit here and listen to a song about love, and how to get over someone. Its way better than not knowing what someone is saying over the electronic instruments, a.k.a. dubstep. I don't like listening to a song about someone screaming, you can’t even read the lyrics on Youtube because they’re singing to fast. MTV, is all about that base. No trouble.. I mean, how long has it been since you heard the melody to the song “Don’t Trust Me”.. Tell your boyfriend, he says he got beef, but I am a vegetarian and I ain’t f***ing scared of him. Now, we’re listening to someone who keeps repeating, or nahh a zillion times, like dude. We got your point. WE CALL THIS MUSIC!! Soo. My question, is why? Why am I embarrassed to sing along to Slim Shady, but not embarrassed to sing to Young, Wild and Free?
